How to use
- Select a shape.
- Choose a unit.
- Enter the required values.
- Click Calculate.
- View the area result.
Area formulas
- Rectangle: Area = Length × Width
- Square: Area = Side × Side
- Circle: Area = π × Radius²
- Triangle: Area = 0.5 × Base × Height
Supported shapes
This first version supports rectangles, squares, circles, and triangles. Each shape shows only the input fields needed for that formula.
Supported units
You can calculate area from millimeters, centimeters, meters, kilometers, inches, feet, and yards. The result is shown in the matching square unit, such as m², ft², or yd².
Result explanation
The result summary shows the main area, the formula used, the exact calculation, and a readable square-unit result. When Meter is selected, the calculator also shows hectares and acres for quick land-area reference.
Math tool note
This is a simple Math Tool for shape area formulas. It is not a GIS coordinate area calculator and does not calculate geodesic, projected, or map-based polygon areas.
